I am a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at Washington & Lee University.

My research interests are knot theory and low-dimensional topology. I have a particular interest in the application of homological algebraic invariants in these fields. My latest work focuses on the functoriality of odd Khovanov homology and its implications.

I enjoy programming and am proficient in C++ and Java, additionally I am learning Python and C#.

In my spare time I enjoy going on walks and doing wildlife photography. I also collect, restore and play (though not that well) reed organs and other free reed instruments.
